Cementitious Mixers

Davis Cementitious Mixers are used for mixing both wet and dry cementitious products. We use our double-ribbon agitator when mixing dry material since the ribbons rotate faster and are more efficient with ingredients that are very free-flowing. We use our paddle agitator with wet cementitious products since this material is a heavy slurry with poor flow characteristics. Our paddles provide a lifting and folding mixing action.

Recommended Mixer Types & When to Use

Paddle agitators: Best for higher-shear blending, deagglomeration, and dispersing binders into dense powders.
Ribbon agitators: Ideal for gentle, low-shear blending of free-flowing powders and fragile additives where minimal particle damage is required.
Horizontal configuration: Promotes uniform flow, simple discharge, and scalable capacities for continuous or batch operations.
